The Value of Low Odor Paint

Fall and winter are ideal times to have the interior of your home repainted. But many people worry they won’t be able to air out the paint smell if they have the work done this time of year. I wanted to tell you about low or no VOC paint which is the no odor healthy choice for interior painting.

VOC stands for volatile organic compounds. The EPA tells us “they are emitted as gases from certain solids or liquids. Organic chemicals are widely used as ingredients in household products like paints, varnishes, wax as well as many cleaning, disinfecting, cosmetic, degreasing, and hobby products.”
VOC’s are the cause of the odor we associate with painting. Using low or no VOC paint eliminates the paint smell as well as one source of indoor pollution.

As painters we also appreciate the improved air quality!

As you may have seen in our commercial running on KOB 4 we are offering to paint your ceilings for free when you have a minimum of three rooms painted.

So now there is no good reason to put off that interior painting; not only will you save money, you will not have any paint odors to deal with and you will help save the environment!
