2013 has been a memorable year for Mike’s Quality Painting. We met and then exceeded every goal we set for ourselves this year. Charitable Projects Closer to a Cure
- Donated painting to joy junction through home builders care
- Donated money to JDRF
- Supported women’s housing coalition and paws and stripes through home builders bowling tournament
- Proud Sponsor of CREW NM, an organization that supports women in commercial real estate.
Training & Personal Improvement Summit
- Joined Summit Services (a nationally recognized painting consultant)
- Attended two summit training workshops to improve standard practices
- Had 5 crew leaders attend advanced crew leader training
- Held 6 internal training workshops with our crews
- Implemented advanced communication practices by getting our crew leaders I-pads
- Implemented computerized estimating to ensure consistent & accurate pricing
- We held over 40 team meeting breakfasts to review our eight points of culture
Sustainable Growth Job fair
- Added 11 full time painting positions
- Added an estimating position
- Added 2 part time clerical positions
- Added 3 new vans to the fleet
- Added 1 new work trailer
- Purchased a new office and warehouse to improve organization and dispatching
- Exceeded our company growth projections by 13%
